- YMU is a free, participation-based network, where customers receive monitoring services and participate as active YMU-Nodes in the YMU network. Performing intermittent low-bandwidth checks (as low as opening your home webpage) and highly-secure routines on other participants.
- Any body can join and participate in the network, no matter how big or small your website. Even if you run a tiny blog on a shared server, you can participate and reap the benefits of global monitoring.
Once you registered, you can login to YMU system; not only customize monitoring service for your website, but also turn your website into an YMU-Node by the following steps:
-
- Download a tiny piece of script from YMU control center
- Install the script ( web page ) to your web server's directory that used to publish web page
- Do add a YMU-Node action and fill in some necessary information just like the script relative path ( e.g. "www.google.com/hand.jsp" )
- After verified by YMU network, your website becomes an YMU-Node in the YMU network
- As an YMU-Node, it will receive monitor tasks from YMU data center, execute these tasks for other websites, and then return the result to YMU data center
- Your website enjoys the monitoring service from other YMU-Nodes in YMU network, and you can get daily, weekly, monthly graphic report, email or SMS alert notice from YMU data center
